On the afternoon of January 29, 2024, the Commissioner of Zhanjiang Customs Office, Mr. Guohua Huang, and the Commissioner of Xiashan Customs Office, Mr. Qiyao Zhong, led a team to visit MIC’s tank farm to conduct the pre-holiday safety inspection.

General Manager of the company Mr. Maoqi Sun gave an overview to Mr. Huang and his team about the company's main business, the domestic and international ammonia market as well as the future development and application of green ammonia. Mr. Sun also expressed gratitude to Zhanjiang Customs Office for supporting the company's ammonia bonded business, approving the application of ammonia bonded storage tank at the end of last year. Zhanjiang MIC ChemEnergy Co., Ltd. is the only bonded tank farm in China at present.

Mr. Huang recognized that the VAT exemption for the bonded ammonia helps the enterprise ease financial pressure and improve its financial results. The Customs Office is responsible for supervision, while enterprises, as the main body in charge of safety management, should have concrete measures in place for safety management. The Customs Office will stay open to accept ideas to create the right condition for enterprises to grow up stronger and bigger.

Mr. Sun mentioned to Mr. Huang that the company conforms to the Level II National Standards of Enterprise Production Safety & Standardization and the ISO system, and has also received the CDIT certification, conforming to international standards. The company will endeavor to ensure the efficient operation of each system and do a great job in on-site safety management. At the same time the company will maintain close communication with the relevant departments of the Customs Office, strictly operate in accordance with the customs supervision and regulations, and report in a timely manner to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the company.
